Grim & Gilded
Episode Nine - The Race
Tommy works hard on a fishing boat, spending her days catching and gutting the Gulliver's haul as a deckhand. But it's more than just thrill of the catch that draws her to the water. When the Gulliver pulls something much more interesting than a dogfish or striper, Tommy finds the thread constantly tugging her to the dark waters is suddenly pulled taut.
"The Race" is written by Sarina Bosco, and originally featured as the first place winner of Grim & Gilded's Summer 2023 Short Story Contest.
