Grim & Gilded is an independent literary journal focused on stories steeped in dark fiction, fantasy, horror, and sci-fi. Poetry, flash fiction, short stories, and visual art are accepted for publication, though the podcast focuses primarily on the flash fiction and short story category. Pieces can vary between both genre and literary spaces.

Episode Six - Winter's Hunger and Evolution

In "Winter's Hunger," a hiking accident forces an unnamed victim to cross a line in the snow in order to survive - but is the end result a life saved, or a curse bestowed?
In "Evolution," we meet a starving, mighty hunter of the wild as it come up against a human, and the tame affliction her flesh imparts.
